How to Remap Sprite Colors Online
The Sprite Remapper is a powerful tool for pixel artists and game developers. It allows you to instantly swap colors in your spritesheets or pixel art assets using a visual node-based interface. This is perfect for creating faction reshades, adjusting color palettes, or testing new themes without manually repainting every pixel.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Upload Sprite: Select the image you want to modify (PNG/JPG).
- Upload Palette: Select a new color palette (can be another image, text file, hex list, or GPL file).
- Connect Colors: The tool extracts colors from both files. Click a color on the left (Source) and connect it to a color on the right (Target).
- Preview & Download: See the changes instantly in the preview window and download the result as a PNG.
Advanced Features
- Visual Mapping: See exactly which color goes where with bezier curves.
- Zoom & Pan: Easily navigate large spritesheets in the preview window.
- Palette Support: Supports standard .gpl palette files and raw hex text.
Local Processing
We use the HTML5 Canvas API to read pixel data directly from your system memory. Your sprite files are never uploaded to the cloud or any external server.
